One man’s dream to own a farmer’s market has evolved into the destination that Country Cupboard and its campus has become today. Dan Baylor opened Country Cupboard in 1973 as a small restaurant, farmer’s market, and gift shop. Over the past thirty plus years Country Cupboard and it’s campus has expanded by listening to our guests and providing them with the goods and services they were looking for. Today the campus consists of the Country Cupboard, the Shops at Country Cupboard, the Best Western Country Cupboard Inn, Country Inn and Suites, and Damon’s Grill. The business truly is a family business with Dan’s grandchildren now running the company.

Steininger’s Cleaners was started in 1955 by my parents with one location. Providing laundry and shirt service, they moved into dry cleaning. Our facility continued to grow over the years, moving from 1200 square feet and one pressing station, to 2200 square feet and three pressing stations.

In 1991 we opened our first satellite store in Lewisburg, from there we opened other convenience locations. In 1995 we opened our brand new location in Lewisburg which includes the areas only drive up window.

Feeling the need for a larger production facility, we moved our plant to a new 6600 square foot building in Hummels Wharf. Our new plant features the latest in equipment; providing you with the best quality.

In 2004 we remodeled and enlarged our coin-op laundry in Selinsgrove. Providing you with a clean, modern and climate controlled self service laundry.

Our future plans will include even more convenience. Even with all our growth, we never forgot the importance of providing you with quality caring service. Knowing you come first and without you we would not be here. Thank You for the past 50 years and look forward to the next 50 years in providing you with quality service and friendship.
